but am worried about stopping for pee breaks. As I often am out for 2-3hrs+ it's not uncommon that I have to stop off to relieve myself in the bushes. I'm guessing that with bibs this is impossible without stripping off your top half as well?

I hadn't considered this. Being 3/4 length you'd have to have a 20" knob!

There isn't really a problem for me. Lean forward and stretch the bib down.

Haven't tried with this particular model, but generally it's not a problem. You simply pull the front down - the material is generally stretchy enough to allow this.
