What is the riding/performamance difference between 700X23 tires and 700X20 tires? Are the 700X20's better handling because it is thinner? Which is optimal?

20mm tyres handle worse, especially during cornering, because there's less rubber on the road. Some people actually consider them dangerous for criteriums.

I ride two bikes with 700x23 and one bike with 700x25. The 700x25 tires give a more smoother feel as well as better road damping. They feel so much more comfortable than my 700x23's. I ride Michelin Dynamic 700x25's and they only cost $12.99 each.
