I'm preparing a paper on sprinting, and I'm interested mostly in matters of technique. I can find a lot of support on the internet for the "dorsi-flex" method (cocking the foot upwards) in the recovery leg. But I'm also looking for arguments against, which at the moment I can't find. Does anyone here disapprove of this running method? If so, what are your reasons for rejecting it?
Thanks
Pat B.

How much sprinting do you do? When was your last 100m race? What was your time?

Quoted message said: How much sprinting do you do?
Fifteen minutes per day.
Quoted message said: When was your last 100m race?
Never. My last 100 yards race was in 1958
Quoted message said: What was your time?
A hand-timed 10.1 secs.
Does that help you form an opinion about dorsi-flex running?
