  1. I'll be in Alb. next week with my bike - any suggestions? I'm looking more for scenic rides and a
good workout than I am a technical challenge. Thanks in advance for either directions to trails or
    to knowledgable resources!

    Nick

Learn how to spell Albuquerque before you go?

The "correct spelling" would be Alburquerque ... As in "Villa de Alburquerque." ... Anglo's ....
    go figure.

ALB IS Albany N.Y, I think you mean ABQ,

ALB IS Albany N.Y, I think you mean ABQ,

    <snip>

ABQ is only used at the airport around here .... Tell some one you are going to "ABQ" and they'll
just think your going to (and mispronouncing) Abiquiu, which is pronounced a'Bee Q. Alb is used
locally ... as is turkey ... and Albaturkey.

ALB may be Albany, but "Alb" when the heading is "Albuquerque" is pretty dang understandable, even
fo' a po' ol' Northern boy. Do you say you're going to LHR if you're vactioning in England? (Or do
    you prefer LGW?)

Hardly anyone 'vacations' in England anyway - only 22% of Yanks actually own a passport.

    bomba - LGW every time...

Why LHR of course. Not many flights out of ATL into LGW!

ALB IS Albany N.Y, I think you mean ABQ,

Which is exactly the only I'd have known it.

Now that really depends on who you're telling it too. Where is Abiguiu?

Pretty [censored] riding around ABQ, particularly to the east.

I generally talk about where to ride with other riders.

Abiquiu 13 381508E 4007534N And there is better riding near by.

Really? I hadn't heard that. Thanks for the heads up. It really isn't on my list of "must" ride
    location anyhow.

Excellent choice of words then I s'pose.

    Thanks for the advice then.
