I need pedals for my road bike and am looking into getting an economical (ie, under $50) pair. I'm strictly a recreational rider; maybe one 20 mile ride per week in the summer. The Nashbar Ventoux (nashbar.comprofile.cfmOpen ↗=) caught my eye. I'd like to hear some opinions on them from users before I buy. Any information is appreciated.

I have a pair of these in black, and I think they are fine. I don't mind the Look style of pedal, and am comfortable using them. There are much more expensive pedals out there, lighter ones also, but these should fit your need fine. A good pedal for a good price. Good luck.

I have them, and like them. I don't have anything to compare them to though. I got my pedals and shoes for under $50Robbie

I've ridden on them a lot, and have no problems. Some have complained of difficulties clipping out (I think that's what roadbikereview had said), but I never have. These are equal to the Performance equivalent and probably supergo has something very similar.
