  1. Has anyone found a way to beat planter fasciitis? I have tried a tennis
ball, Ice, night splints, stretches, the works.. I am thinking of trying a
product called the PSC.. has anyone used it before? Looks like it should
work but looking for some feedback.
I found the PSC on http://www.pattstrap.com/psc.htm

    thank you much.

Unfortunately PF is a complete [censored] to get rid of.I tried all those
things without any success at all.The first thing is to get it properly
diagnosed ( it may be something else entirely ) so a trip to the GP is
necessary. After that there are two avenues, either a physio or a
podiatrist.Personally,I first went to a physio without a great deal of
success and then a podiatrist and I wish I had done it the other way round
as the podiatrist is very good, supplying an orthotic for my shoe. She found
one leg was 8mm shorter than the other, which I gather is not unusual at all
in 95% of the population. It is not fully cured as yet but I can run and hill
walk on it just about pain free and the "morning can't put your foot to the
    floor" is gone.

I would avoid buying appliances and doo dahs until you have had it looked at
    by the professionals.

    Hope this helps,

    Sam Salt

Well spotted, I was on the verge of helping the obnoxious little [censored].

    Abuse complaints to [email hidden]

And for anyone else stumbling across this thread in future, PF is too important
to take risks with, go and see someone who knows what they're talking about
    rather than buying ripoff products.

I speak as someone who has completely recovered from PF by doing the morning
    towel stretch - http://heelspurs.com/_intro2.html#str & gastroc stretch
    - http://www.brooksrunning.com/on_the_run/plantar.htm
Then stretching it whilst sat at my desk. It required no heat, ice, taping or
    the websites recommended products.
