I realize this newsgroup prolly gets flooded with ye olde "How do I start a running training program?" question, so I'll not ask it. What I *do* want to know, however, is whether any of you know of a good online guide that describes how to go about transforming yourself from a fatty couch potato to a healthy exerciser. I remember reading quite a good HOWTO like that a few years back in a newsgroup article, but I can't remember what newsgroup nor the title of the article. So... if some of you (or one of you) could maybe post a link to a site that you think/know has some good advice, it would go greatly appreciated.
As a side note: I'm of course not incapable of searching for this information myself. I just figured that if I asked here I'd get some actual useful and healthy sites to look at as opposed to all the garbage I will most likely come across whilst doing a simple Google search myself. Basically I'm trying to get some expert opinions going here.
Might start with the rec.running Beginners' FAQs, posted routinely by Ozzie (just last thursday the 20th.) Good place to start as any (probably better.)
