  1. My local bookshop has a copy of 'The Wilderness World of Cameron Mcneish:
    Beyond the Black Stump' for just £4.50. While I recognise the name I'm
    wondering;
    Is it worth getting? What is it about?

    For £4.50, sounds good to me 🙂

    Best wishes,

  3. I use Cameron Mcneish's Munro Book for my assaults on the Munros. I've
    looked at a few other books but I've now settled on this, the descriptions
    are short, colourful and sometimes informative ;-) I'v0e read a few things
    he's wrote in magazines, but most of these seem to be hit and miss articles.

    I'd try and read a few paragraphs, if you like the style, buy it.

    I'd buy it at that price.

    There's a review at www.mountaineering-scotland.org.uk/nl/book46.html.
    John D seemed to like it.

    Thanks all, I grabbed it tonight after work. If I don't like it I can always
    resell it.

    You can probably make a handsome profit on Ebay :-)

    I bet I can! But you won't see it there for some time, I've got to read it
    first!
