where is the best position to place the magnetic trigger for your bike computer? very close to the centre or in the middle or closer to the outer rim?
Also, i have found that no matter where i place magnetic trigger on the spoke it creates an im-balance when the wheel is spinning. This is evident when you prop the bike upright on the rear wheel so that the front wheel is free spinning directly about the rear wheel. You can actaully feel it rock back and forth. Give it a try and you will see what i mean. (its more evident when you give it a medium spin)😕

The closer to the hub the better from the points of view of both rotational inertia and potential imbalance. You will need to ensure that the sensor is able to be fitted low down on the fork.
