G'day ganderctr, after reading your post I can suggest a real alternative.

Why don't you get over to Australia and come to Brisbane, in Queensland, have a holiday here for two or three, or four weeks. While your here see "Joe Cosgrove" he will build you a custom "Frezoni" (Steel/Aluminium/Titanium) equip it with "Campagnolo" "Shimano" whatever you specify and all your troubles will be solved.

It's that simple, you get a good bike, a great holiday, see the better part of the world and maybe if your a good boy, we'll take you for a ride through some country side you'll never forget. Then you'll appreciate how fantastic Australia is and why we did so well in the Olympics?

All it wil cost you is much less than the [censored] you can buy in the States, I kid you not? Give him a ring before you leave the States, and he'll be prepared to give you his time willingly and you will not look back?

You'll get a superb bike the paint job will be outstanding, he builds the wheels to your specification and has never turned out a crappy job yet.

I ride two of his creations (not at the same time of course) and I really do know a good bike from a crook bike, having ridden many years and many different bikes?

Keep the wheels inmotion, and don't look back, unless it's to see who you dropped on the last climb? TBC

Bikes in the USA can't be that expensive to prevent you looking at other (better) brands.

I scan Ebay a lot and I see some excellent bargains in the USA for Pinarello, Bianchi, De Rosa.
Ok they're second hand but they're surely better than the brands you've mentioned and they're bound to be cheaper than buying a new Klein/Dale ?

Who cares, they only pose on them, if they were real riders, they wouldn't be pissing about on e-bay. Your just a bunch of softies trying to impress the office trollop.

i have been looking at Bianchi for an new road bike...sub £1,000 of course but people who own them have nothing but praise for them...

as a previous C/dale owner...i know how [censored] thier quality control can be, if you get a good one, theyre good but if you get a real blooper youre buggered...

i sold it for £600 a year after buying it for £1500..

Recommend Bianchi.
They're a lovely bike - they handle well and they're durable.
I have a Bianchi San Remo - with campy setup.
I love this bike.

I also have a Pinarello - bought in 1997 - Pinarello Olympic it's called.
It's like an armchair - totally comfortable and again durable.

But as they say, it ain't the bike, it's the engine what counts.

But Pro, if I could recommend either one (and it's a hard call) - I'd go for Bianchi.
