I was watching the first of C4's the "War on Terra" series about climate change. In it Marcel Theroux interviewed the chairman of Shell. He, the chairman, seemed like he was just about to suggest the we all use a little less fuel when his PR person curtailed the interview. Anyway, the interesting shot at the end of the interview was him stood next to his neatly folded Brompton.
Tonight's programme, about US car culture, is asking what car Jesus would drive. It sounds like he'll not be a cyclist.

That's a bit like asking what handgun Jesus would carry.
Which country would Jesus invade? And whose house would he smart-bomb?
Having the "Jesus was a lefty" argument with the American Christian Right is terribly amusing. I recommend it heartily.

Is it possible to power a still off its own output with some left over? If so, once started, turning water into wine could run an alcohol powered car for free.

And the answer is a Honda Accord:
"For I did not speak of my own Accord..." - John 12:49 "The Apostles were in one Accord." - Acts 5:12
*One* Accord? How big is an Accord?
Colin
Twelve Apostles in an Accord should be easy;
"The greatest number of people to fit in a Mini was achieved on July 3, 2000, when a total of 18 women crammed into a Mini Cooper outside the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, West Midlands, UK. This team beat the previous record, set by the Reading Ladies’ Rugby Club (UK), by one person."

Ah. You were erroneously thinking of Jesus of Nazareth, when they were thinking of Supply-Side Jesus:
How about a VW Camper owned by John apparently? You could get loads of apsotles in that.
Mt 11:7 - When John's disciples left to report, Jesus started talking to the crowd about John. "What did you expect when you went out to see him in the wild? A weekend camper?

Suggestions from home include a Triumph Herod and and a Pontiac Pilot. I still reckon he'd use Judas's Chariot.
Is the latter made by Chrystler?
Did anyone watch the prog? I was amused by the interview with the ex-MIT student going to protest outside the Ford plant about their addiction to oil and harm to the environment. The interview was filmed as she drove to the protest!

Was she driving in a brand new 4x4 though?
Judi Bari (http://www.judibari.org/) was blown up while driving a car. That does not mean she was enthralled by the likes of Ford.
