  1. After long rides of 4+ hours I sometimes don't feel hungry. This can continue for a day or so. Should I force myself to eat or should I listen to my body's appetite?

Currently I just eat and try to put up with the discomfort.

I used to get that way when I ran long distance races. I started about 20 minutes after I was done running by drinking a recovery drink (Gatorade's version). After about an hour I started eating high carb foods - pretzls and fig newtons mostly. The trick was to keep drinking plenty of fluids. After about two hours I was back to normal, and very hungry.
