How Much Grease?

Minimum: Enough to keep the balls in place.
Maximum: There is no maximum but if you overdo it it'll ooze out and you'll have to wipe it up.
Optimum: Enough to fill up the space so there's no room for water to get in and only a little oozes out after a good shakedown ride.

Good choice on the grease IMO, but I suspect this is another religious issue.

I put in as much as will fit and then clean up what oozes out when the parts are assembled. I figure
it is better to have too much than too little.

I too use the ooze technique. more is better and you can always
clean up after. Too little and you may be causing damage.

another advantage to the uh somewhat less than max amount and that's the ooze carries the outer soon
tobe inner dirt away. on the other hand, to groove on how much HP we don't have, try some FL CC in
there for a weekends ride ZOOOOOOOOOM. off course it quickly runs out and then yougotta repack and
where's that at, right?

BUT enter enginneering whom raises an interesting and cogent observation: under certain conditions,
heavy grease, specific grease types, housing configurations, climate- too jmuch grease makes the
balls skid not rotate. I duh cogitate upwind on this to the effect that the top grease jams down on
de balls equalling or maybe esqualling the other forces and de balls den refuse, to rotate and god
help us the damn things grind straight down into the botttom grease

wearout.or "at the very least" reduce HP thru friction loss. holy golden mean batman.
