The other day when I saw a young guy at costco with a missing arm, for some
reason I was wondering if that happened in Iraq, but right away I knew the
odds of that were slim, but someday we may have so many of these guys
walking around missing arms and legs that it will be a more common sight
like in third world country where its mostly from land mines. We need to get
out soon, tomorrow would work for me. The half a trillion would be better
spent on the Indian Ocean Earthquake not only helping those in need but
would go a long ways toward healing the hate by muslim countries that Bush
started. Heck, for a half a trillion we could do a lot of rebuilding and
have a better stake in that region without getting things blown up all the
time after the work is done.

We all know there is no oil there.

I would only add that some of that money could also be used to help
rebuild schools and pay for teachers here in the US.. Wasn't it the Mayor of
Cleveland who said he'd like his city rebuilt before Baghdad?
