  1. I've been surfing the web to find some bike clothes for myself. I've been to Performancebike.com and was pretty impressed. I bought a helmet and a lock there. Where do you guys do your shopping? Any place better than Performancebike.com? I'm looking for some bike shorts and jerseys, lots of them.

Let everyone benefit from this thread. Just name the site where you think it's a worthy place to go spend your money on.

    Performancebike.com - Good deals

  2. www.probikekit.com is a good place for cheap clothes (their old stock is often nicely priced) and tyres.

I've ordered from them three or four times and the delivery has always been prompt (keeping in mind that their warehouse is in the UK.)

  3. velowear.comvelowear.com

I really like these guys. Moderate prices, excellent service, great quality, and a personal touch.

  4. try this site they have cheap prices

    www.prorpm.com

  5. You can find some goodbike deals on Ebay, but when it comes to Jerseys, there seem to be quite a few counterfits for sale.

  6. Performance Bike always stands behind their products. They will return/refund - no questions asked if you are not happy.

  7. In addition to Performance, Nashbar and Supergo are good. Actually, all 3 are owned by the same parent company. Colorado Cyclist is another top of the line retailer.

  8. I've gotten a couple of psychotically great deals by watching the road bike gear at jensonusa.com. Just before Christmas I got an '04 Giro Atmos helmet for just a hair over $100US, and that price included free shipping as well as the Giro helmet pod case.

I checked with Performance and asked if they would match the price. (I also wanted to take advantage of their 20% off coupon.) They said that they couldn't match the jensonusa price because their Atmos' didn't come with a helmet pod. I pointed out that all they would have to do was to match the price and throw the helmet pod in on the deal but they wouldn't budge. Performance is usually good to match just about any price, and I have never had them refuse to honor their coupons either.

  9. Ebay is always good for me and, recently in the UK I have used www.bicyclerubber.com which was great.
