  1. have anyone been up Kinder or Edale today and what are the conditions like
    in the area.

  2. Went along Derwent edge, sunny, icy, frozen bogs, powdery snow. Would
imagine it would be similar on Kinder?

It was thawing pretty quick, so depending on tonight, might be all gone
    soon!

Eh? It's minus 4.1°C here in Manchester at 250ft ASL, and there was
snow on the small hill we walked over today. The golf course was
covered in toboggans, and there appeared to be plenty of snow on Kinder,
    from where we were.

  4. That's sort of what I said, yes I think there's snow there.

But all you need is a little warmish rain and bye bye!

Go now and enjoy is my advice!

Won't effect us, we'll be sat in Scotland alternating between
    blizzards and torrential rain :-)

Just been sledging with the kids on Burbage Edge (in Buxton), there's
still a couple of inches of snow and it's bitterly cold so I'm sure
    there's still plenty on Kinder.
