  1. There's a reason we have BR's on Sundays, because when you ride on
Monday you get a wet, windy, cold, slow ride (21.8kmh avg). Just me and
Blah out this morning, with rain varying from showers to downpours. One
massive downpour as we were comign into Diamond Creek but we figured we
could dry off and warm up at the bakery WHICH WAS CLOSED! So it wasnn't
until we reached Greensborough that we found a cafe and by then I
figured we might as well just keep on plodding home. The wind down
Greensborough Rd was so strong at one stage I was on 25kmh (usually
around 60kmh). I think the best part of this ride was getting home.

Where's the ride report from yesterday, I heard a northern interloper
slayed you guys on the hills?

4.00am ish: Wake up and it's pouring, hmmm, not good, back to sleep.

6.30 am: Alarm goes off and I 'm out of bed in a flash, look outside, hmmm, not good.

6.45am: Check the weather radar, not great, 2 showers coming but they might just miss the BR. I decide I'm going!

6.55am: Coffee/Brekkie, gear on, pump tyres, and I'm out the door, and up the street.

7.00am On the bike cold and windy, then the first couple of raindrops come, U-turn.

7.15am: Back in bed snoozing....I'm so soft!

Fingers crossed for the rest of week.

    Brett.

BTW: Are the Kew crits on this week?

Hmmm, still looks a bit nasty out there. Bring on the 12hr 2004 TDF DVD I got for Chrissy. 😄

Wednesday sounds interesting, weather looks like it might improve by then.
