Hub Dynamo Inconvenience

I don't think there is a safe/secure/convenient method to a a quick releasing connector set in series with the wiring. I use a dyno hub and remove and replace the connections when removing the front wheel.
I use a "bit" ... technical term :} of Caig Laboratries PreservIT on the connectors.
I think you are correct about the hazard of wearing out or degrading the connection.
I suggest you contact the manufacturer for their ideas.
