"Doug Stoup is in Patriot Hills, Antarctica weathering the storm. As conditions improve, he will continue his solo ICE BIKE expedition (through the 24th). He's pedaling a custom-built ice bike designed by Dan Hanebrink (HANEBRINK). He plans to trek the Ellsworth Mountain region (unsupported) and carrying all of his supplies on a sled. This is a test run for a later expedition to the South Pole."
