I've seen some immitation liveStrong bands at the flea market but they arn't the real thing. If they arn't the real thing then what's the point, the whole purpose for the bands is to support cancer research.

They are counterfeit. The campaign is called "WEAR YELLOW".

Coach Fran of the TX Aggies had maroon bands made for the football team. BFD, they sure as hell didn't have a thing to do with LiveStrong.

But if you want colors for some other reason and you have the money...http://www.collectorsparadise.com/bracelets.html

    You will still look retarded.

    Dear Friend of the LAF,

The popularity of the Wear Yellow Live Strong wristband campaign has encouraged profiteers to take advantage of our success. We are aware that counterfeit Live Strong wristbands have been created and are being sold for profit and not for the benefit of the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF). Our legal team is aggressively pursuing these sellers and issuing cease and desist orders immediately.

If you are interested in buying a Live Strong wristband and you are concerned about purchasing an authentic wristband, be sure to purchase it from our Web site, www.laf.org, or from these official retailers: Build-a-Bear stores, Discovery Channel Stores, Niketown, Nike Outlet, Nikewoman and United Grocery Stores in Texas .

If you own a Live Strong wristband and you are concerned about its authenticity, here are some helpful hints:

    1. If you bought your wristband from our Web site at www.laf.org or
www.wearyellow.com, it is a Live Strong wristband.

    2. If you purchased your wristband at the LAF booth at Ride for the Roses Weekend, it is
    a Live Strong wristband.

    3. If you purchased your wristband from Niketown, Nike outlet, Nikewoman or an official
Nike retailer, including Foot Action, Footlocker, Finish Line or independent bike dealers, it
    is a Live Strong wristband.

    4. If you purchased your wristband before October 2004, it is likely a Live Strong
    wristband.

Please keep in mind that official Live Strong wristbands are ONLY yellow. If your wristband is any other color, it is not an official Live Strong wristband.

Live Strong wristbands come in three types of packaging: packaging that includes the Nike logo and information about the LAF, packaging that includes information about the LAF and no Nike logo and clear celophane packaging with no information of logos. Again, if you ordered wristbands from our Web site, they are official Live Strong wristbands.

    We appreciate your concern.

Thank you for contacting the LAF.

    Warm regards,

    Lance Armstrong Foundation

  5. Did anyone see the blue bands that were part of BBC Radio1's Anti-Bullying Campaign? They were giving them away for free (to UK residents only) 🙁 so I don't know what they look like up close but from the website they sure look like blue versions of the yellow ones.
