They are counterfeit. The campaign is called "WEAR YELLOW".

Coach Fran of the TX Aggies had maroon bands made for the football team. BFD, they sure as hell didn't have a thing to do with LiveStrong.

4. If you purchased your wristband before October 2004, it is likely a Live Strong
wristband.

Please keep in mind that official Live Strong wristbands are ONLY yellow. If your wristband is any other color, it is not an official Live Strong wristband.

Live Strong wristbands come in three types of packaging: packaging that includes the Nike logo and information about the LAF, packaging that includes information about the LAF and no Nike logo and clear celophane packaging with no information of logos. Did anyone see the blue bands that were part of BBC Radio1's Anti-Bullying Campaign? They were giving them away for free (to UK residents only) 🙁 so I don't know what they look like up close but from the website they sure look like blue versions of the yellow ones.
