I was curious about this as well. I even tried to look around as well. I found it was also difficult to see who is currently suspended for doping or even bouncing a check. I promoted a race this year and if I wanted to double check on some riders I think it would have proved difficult.
I was also thinking that crit pro has a system. Could it possibly be that if you throw enough [censored] against the wall eventually some of it will stick? Basically I think that if you formally accuse as many of your peers as possible, and even report them to the authorities that eventually tests will be administered and the [censored] will stick. I guess you just have to love McCarthyism.

Getting the inforomation about currently suspended riders isn't that hard. Promoters are suppose to get Info. from USAC about how to access the USCF and NORBA database information via the USAC web page. Promoters can download the database information for the whole USCF or NORBA. There is a notes field in the database Info where you can ask to find any riders listed as suspended in the notes field.
As of the 12/12/2004 database there are 53 USCF riders listed as suspended. Note that riders like DAvid Fuentes who has a Pro license this year don't show up in the USCF database information and doesn't show up when looking for suspended riders.

53 riders doesnt seem like much, especially considering that is nationwide. I just went onto the USAC website under event organizers and was unable to find a way to look for suspensions. There was a database search that appeared to be pointed toward finding specific events. I could be wrong but I dont see much in supporting officials and promoters on these or similar regards. In addition to this there is very little in assistance and opinions via the officials link. I would think that it would behoove all of us to have as much information about how to properly use the rules and the rule book and that the USAC website and specifically the officials area would be the best means to support officials so that they can properly apply the rules. The database Info I was talking about is in a password protected area of the USAC website. As I said before promoters are suppose to be sent Info on how to access this area when their race permits are processed. You can also find out how to access this area from your Regional Rep or your Local Association.

At least locally I send out alerts to the scheduled Chief Refs and the promoters when we have local riders who are suspended. I'll suggest that there be a link set up on the USAC web page some place for suspensions. As a local administrator I have a link on my USAC account page that says view suspensions but it currently gives me just a blank page.
