  1. Hi guys, I just joined this group and had a small question. Does
anybody else get really sharp pains in their ears after they finish
running? It usually happens about 2-3 minutes after I stop. It's almost
like it's the inner ear, then it spreads to the rest of my head, then
disappears in about 1 minute. It's only been doing this for a little
    while. Should I be worried?

  2. It might be the cold weather. Try wearing a winter headband or a hat that
covers your ears (might get too hot) .

  6. Well then see your Doctor, if (s)he can't figure it out get a referral to an
ENT (ear nose and throat specialist, not a age old walking talking tree.
Although one of those might help too as they're very wise).

  7. Haha... ok, I suppose I could hit up my uncle, he's a retired ENT. I
just didn't want to go to a dr. and realize it was something stupid
like I wasn't breathing properly or something. Thanks for your help!

I must've missed this thread, but did anyone ask you about "Foot dominance"?
Which foot do you start out on?

It's probably vascular. But you'd be surprised at how
little even ENTs know about the human ear and hearing...

  10. My right....

    would that affect your ears?

Defeniately! Try starting out on the left. It gives you a whole new
prospective, and should vure your problem.

  12. Hm... I just googled foot dominance and didn't find anything on it
affecting blood flow, etc. So either I'm waaaay too gullible or I'm not
looking in the right places. :o) I wouldn't be surprised at either.

Well I guess you'll just have to try it for a few days to see if it works. Then
    report back, ok?

Hit yourself in the nose with a hammer, the pain will be so intense you'll
forget all about your ears. That'll be $60.

  15. Yes, but unlucky for you, $55 goes to the insurance companies. :o)
