    Why would anyone want a trike that weighs 47 lbs.? I'll gladly pay $300
    more to get 34 lbs. or another $300 to get 30 lbs.

  5. I have one coming. I am not thrilled about the weight, but the tadpole
    is the base for a large velomobile body (the Pod mentioned on BROL or
    Recumbents.com) so any extra bracing or support might be the way to go.

    My old Terratrike probably weighs very near 50 pounds with fairing, top
    & supports, roll bar, rack & panniers, Pan-o-Ram, stereo, horn, and
    not to mention that horrible Currie hill climber thingie.
