The only cycle instructor I've seen (London and can't remember the name) charges £25 per hour. Not
so unlucrative.

Yes, that's what cycletraining charges customers, but the rate the instructors are paid, according
to their site (although it's not mentioned in the ad) is £12/hr when trained. They do say they're a

We don't get paid in Wolves, it's voluntary. There is however a £5/hour expenses payment made, which
actually makes it more lucrative than my 'proper job' of pool lifeguard at £5.54/hour. I have to say
that the feedback from the kids makes it more than worth it, who needs the dollar, eh? Dave.

Well, maybe I made another mistake then in saying it wasn't particularly lucrative ;-). Just not
enough to lure what remains of my evenings and weekends after my full-time day-job away from me.
Still, it's a worthwhile cause. I can see it could be very good for someone who wants flexible
part-time casual sort of work - could be good for students, maybe. Got to be better paid than bar
work eg, at least, and more rewarding in other ways too. Although the rate is surely only per hour
tutored and doesn't count time taken travelling to/between customers.
