I chew one Altoid peppermint gum. They sell it at Walmart here in a

Super Strong Mento. 2 carbs 2 pieces. I eat just one. Powerful little
piece of gum but it sure covers ketonsis stank quickly!!!

I don't think you will find any. gum's main ingredients are gum base and syrup.
that's where the sugar alcohol comes in. You can get gum made from xyatol that
is not supposed to be as bad as maltitol or sorbital. but so far that's all I
have found. I looked and looked for something to chew or suck on without sugar
alcohols but I had no luck at all.

same as other sugar free gum though it is the only gum that has more gum base
    then sugar.

  6. It's hard for me to believe the tiny amount of any sugar alcohol in a
few pieces of gum is going to cause any of the gastric side effects of
some sugar alcohols. I think you'd have to chew a hell of a lot of gum
for it to amount to enough.

  7. hard for you to believe huh?
i chew maybe 2 pieces a day (while driving) and get intestinal gas,
    each and everytime!

it gets me. I have allergic reactions to it besides the gas and the runs. Plus
    who wants the sugar?

Then I would highly reccomend you not chew that gum, or take up smoking. :>๐Ÿ˜‰

You may have trouble finding any, because I think it's needed for
texture. But a piece of gum would only have 1 gram or maybe 2 grams
at most, so it really shouldn't be enough to "kick your butt" like
a SF candy with 15-20 grams per serving.

Also, the gums usually use xylitol or sorbitol, while people usually
report the most intestinal distress from maltitol or lactitol.

this is what I found too. but it gets me. I did not start too till Had about 8
pieces at the movies (G) I would spit it out and get another one when the flavor
was gone. after that my body gets [censored] even with one stick.
