Hi,
On Specialized's website, I've found the "Pro Multi-Position Stem" in
130mm reach and 31.8mm clamp dia., but every size is shown as "out of
stock". Was this model of stem ever actually available to
joe-consumer?... or were these made available to manufacturers only? I
really do need this exact stem, if it can be found. Thanks.

I believe most specialized dealer LBS carry them. If you've in the SF
Bay Area (south bay), Sun Bike Shop in Milpitas carry them, I think
they've 130, 120 and 110. they've website:
