  1. Hi,

I have a triple chainset. The STI lever for my front deraillure only appears to let me "trim" in the
small and intermediate chainrings. I have tried slackening the cable, does not help. What am I doing
wrong? Or is this by design?

You're not doing anything wrong, there is no trim on the large chainring.

shimano design., The only triple that has 'trim' in the large ring is DuraAce.
