a good day to you all !
I've finally completed my Fotopic gallery with pictures from my journeys to
the UK. The gallery now consists of 5 collections. The Lakedistrict, Skye,
West Highland Way and the newest additions Glen Coe and Scotland. All
pictures have been taken on film. I've used three cameras over the past
years. A Minolta Dynax 1000i (an SLR-camera, different lenses but too heavy,
used for one trip), a Minolta AF101R (a small point and shoot camera without
zoom) and this year an Olympus Mju zoom140 (point, zoom and shoot). All
photos were scanned in using a Canon Lide 200 and edited with PhotoStudio 5.
Most editing was on dust, hairs, wrong pixels, tapeglue (from my
photoalbums), composition, colourbalance (just a tiny bit) and framework. In
the LD collection I've used some photos of my walking companion Theo Ruyter.
In the future I'll buy a digital camera <my wife's reaction: o yeah ???> but
at the moment I'm waiting for the price to come down. (an economic recession
is good for consumer prices). I'm always interested in OT photograph
threads. Thanks Paul and others.
And thanks Fran for mentioning Fotopic.net.
If there's someone who wants personal contact: my emailaddress is valid if
you leave out the obvious.
I hope you enjoy my pictures and that they inspire you to go there
yourselves.
