I am taking part in a quiz, and have come across a question that I'm stuck on. The clue is "US Middle Distance Runner 1980s". The only other information I have is that, somewhere in the answer,is the name of an alcoholic drink. For example, the "Californian Beach" is Malibu.
The only American middle distance runner I can remember from the 80s was Mary Decker Slaney, but I can't think of an alcoholic link there at all.
just drinking coffee now and trying to remember est a guest on how many miles I might have done in the past 4 years. 2000. maybe 1200 miles 2001 maybe 1100 miles 2002 maybe 1250 miles 2003 maybe 2300 miles 2004 so far 2,230 miles total 7980 near 8,000 miles in 4 years if est a guest is right. would has to do some re search for total correct guest. no all running. last 2 years been biking . I guest that is not a long distance person...... unless 500,000 pound is true.... I am a american and don't evan no what a pound is. maybe $3.50 is a pound for $1.00 american...... or 1 pound.... still drinking coffee..... your question is hard to say........ beer on the road sides allways colder when in winter. there is a stray now and then....... or a bottle of un open wine in a after pary place...and some strays..... for a runners drink, I think 1 serving is o.K. and most would say a wine..... thento do 10,000 mile in europe is to say alexander the great. what miles used. standard....mine usd. or romn , there is shorter..... oh what the hell.... I say. wine from napa valley. 1 small cup of wine per day...... maybe day go or some thing......
