The Miyata looks to be a good choice if you fit it. AFAIK they never made [censored]. this was one of their lower end bikes but they always made stuff to last, and sitting unused for 15 years chances are it isn't worn out. Again IF IT FITS about $100 including shipping is the highest I would say to spend. As an aside, I was recently able to reclaim from a thief my 1988 Miyata Ridge Runner Team MTB and I still love the thing...
Not withstanding any comments about who owns the Motobecane name and who built that version of the bike, the components listed are bottom of the line, I think personally that the shipping alone is worth more than the bike.
