Now I've gone and done it...
I was feeling left out because my Brisbane friends were up at the Noosa tri on the weekend. In a fit of absolute stupidity, I've entered myself into the Canberra half-IM.
Guess I'd better get a wetsuit...

but isn't the cycle leg over half the length of an ironman?
You do get to chose which half, don't you.

The cycle leg is 90k, which is bang on 0.5 times the full IM length. I think I'll choose the first half - I'm not fit enough to ride the second half 🙂
