Mounting rear rack on braze ons

They are usually metric, M5x0.8 (5mm, 0.8mm thread pitch); length
depends on thickness of the mounting stays, etc.

A handy tip, if you're going to load the thing upwards of 20lb,
put also the center rod (less rack!) of a seat-mounted-rack under it and
tied to it; that will supply considerable side-to-side anti-sway
support, while the rack you got supplies the up-and-down support.

I use a Bell seat-mounted rack, where all you have to do is unscrew
the plastic rack from the steel center post, for this side-to-side
support. The Bell thingy is junk on its own but does great as a
support.

You can test run M5x0.8 (5mm, 0.8mm thread pitch) from a local hardware and see how it fits.
I suggest steel bolts with a Property Class of 8.8 or higher and coated with Blue Loctite. I would also coat the heads with some high quality highly rust resistant "paint" as stronger hardware isn't usually plated for rust resistance.

If you really hope to mount the rack to the rear wheel, make sure you use
some double-headed machine screws with internal threads... <8-O
