Let me just state up front that I find this report far more annoying
than anything "ARKIDIOT" may have posted, because I cannot now even
remember what that was.
I am using Netscape Communicator 4.7.

Another reason to move past google groups.
Many of us, aren't going by google groups. So, if we don't want to go there
. . .we just don't go there.
However, if you aren't using a web-based newsreader, you definitely CAN
plonk people. See
http://www.hyphenologist.co.uk/killfile/killfilefaq.htm . Section 8.9
spefically explains Outlook Express, and Section 8.7 explains how to use
the Nfilter tool with any news reader.
I believe a majority of people reading news can plonk, and it is better
to quietly report people to abuse or quietly plonk (or overlook, if
plonking isn't an option) them instead of dedicating whole threads to
what used to be an annoying post.

I am using google occasionally to find groups and/or search them; I am
using a newsreader to read them once I found them. 🙂
