  1. to say hello. How's everyone doing? It's been quite a while, the young one
keeps me very busy, she just turned a year a couple months ago. Don't get
as many rides in as I would like but did the San Juan Trail a couple weeks
ago. It certainly wasn't as hot as the AM-B ride a couple years ago. I'll
be trying to catch up as much as I can, but I hope everyone is doing well.

Hey, I remember you! How was SJT, CG? (Sounds like you rode it before the
    recent rains.)

Let's meet there again in July, 2005, for my (exact number withheld)th
    birthday ride!

What's up Sorni? It was actually in between storms. Rode it on a Sunday,
still a little tacky from the rains but in pretty good shape. The mile or
so after Cocktail Rock towards Blue Jay was strewn with baby heads. All in
all it was an excellent ride.

How's the rest of the LoSoCal crew?

Anyway, I hope to be a little more frequent in here again so I hope to catch
up. I see the resident wackos are still up to their old tricks.

July works, but I don't know about a repeat of the 108 degrees. That was
    farking brutal.

All alive and well AFAIK. (You *did* see the video of Miles' infamous
crash, right? He's all healed and just did the freaking Soul Ride in AZ.)

Hey Carla. These days it's mostly my daughter that keeps it real for me.
The ocassional rides are very therapeutic.

I did see the crash, very ugly. I'm glad he's all healed up.

Yo! Nice to hear from you!
A kid and continuation of mountain biking can coexist!

My wife and I take turns when we can't get a sitter. We call it the "tag
team". Then when we can get a sitter, being able to go for a ride together
    is great.
I don't ride quite as often as I used to but I'm getting in 2 to 4 a week,
    which isn't bad.

Hey Matt, good to see you're still around here. 2 to 4 rides a week?!?!?
    I'm jealous. I'm lucky if I can get 2 to 4 a month these days. I'm going
to pick up a trailer in the next few days so at least I'll be getting in the
saddle a bit more. As far as future cyclists are concerned, I'm already
looking for a set of wheels for my girl.
