  1. Has anyone ever seen a bike rack installed on top of a tonneau cover. I have a Chevy Crew Cab pick up with a undercover (hard plastic) tonneau. I don't want to have to bother with taking it on/off, and wasn't sure about a hitch mount rack. I thought a rack installed on top of my cover would look good and be easier than a roof rack. Any suggestions/ideas?

    Thanks
    David

  2. I thought about that and decided to just use the bed of the truck (shortbed 6 ft). I reckon you could mount something, but obviously that would entail drilling into the top.

I've seen some setups like this:

    store1.yimg.comtrucktoys4less 1817 1994239

but they have been specific for covers with siderails installed on them such as:
    store.yahoo.commotoptococh.html
    for example.

Thanks, I looked at the Mountaintop cover, and probably should have bought it, but it was going to cost around $1200 vs $600 for the versacover. I think it is an excellent cover though.
