I had just climbed a hill, standing on the pedals. I was winded and cruising along the local bike path at about 15 mph trying to recover my breath. I was breathing through my mouth and next thing I knew - PROTEIN SNACK - a bug was down the hatch! -
ahh that is one unlucky accident. i once had a bee do that when i was biking but luckily i coughed it out before it stung me

Nothing like a good snack in the middle of a ride. Supposedly if you inhale one, it gets wrapped up in scar tissue and broken down so there's no permanent damage.

Hell- I got hit in the face by a bird on a Vespa in High School- since then I never open my mouth unless I am in the car🙂

Yes you are right and you need tons of protein. Take care of them with the cat. They could be considered a vegetable too. Their not an animal they are an insect that mostly hangs out on plants.

So I heard but definitely not my type of protein. No money or dare could let me try bugs. The only way bugs are going down for me would be if they were to save my life and so far I haven't heard of them being any effective remedy for any ailment.
