Where have I said that America has created, invented, sold everything?
You
Quoted message said:Quoted message said:confuse my serious look at Canada and get defensive. You can't handle
it.
Quoted message said:Quoted message said:It's OK for Canadians like you to bad mouth America but when the tables
turned all of a sudden it's Americans fault.
Here's what I said and have been saying from the beginning of time.
Canadians should watch over their own country first before bad mouthing
others.
A simple "I don't know" would suffice. But I would like for you to
confirm it. Do you know or do you not know?
TC
You are getting way too political and it really doesn't interest me that
much. Every country has it's own national interests and it's no wonder that
there are competing interests so there are no winners. I am a health care
worker who has interest in health issues. Why, what and who you hate is up to
you. I would suggest some spiritual inner search to relieve some of that
deep seated hate.
Then you do not know. Just as I thought.
Here we have a young American male. In his mid-twenties. He's had the
privilege of partaking in at least one democratic election. He has at
least some university education. He comes into this newsgroup with a
bush-like swagger and a Georgia redneck give-em-hell attitude. Good
for him. He doesn't hesitate to set us straight and tell us all about
what's what in international affairs and where the rest of the world
stands in relation to the US of A. Yee Haaaa!
But then we scratch the surface and what do we find? Three years ago,
on 9\11 the US is attacked by terrorists killing 3000 Americans. The
US of A attacks and invades two countries halway around the world,
spending Billions of dollars of taxpayers money and killing tens of
thousands of combatants including over 1000 american soldiers and
causing diplomatic rifts that will plague the country for generations.
And in this extended mailstrom of major political, military, policy,
and world order upheaval, this bright light of the new American
generation who will be voting for a president in a scant few months
has no clue why they are hated enough to be attacked in the first
place. He has no clue as to why anyone anywhere would look at the US
as anything but saints trying to better the world.
Any intelligent person would have asked themselves why did this
happen? What could we have possibly done that would have motivated a
group of people, from halfway around the world, to send 20 or more
individuals to the US to fly planes into our buildings and try to kill
as many of us as possible? There must be a history that led to this
tragic terrorist attack. It is of some importance that US citizens
understand what led to this and that they be aware of the grievances
that this terrorist attack came from?
Now, don't get me wrong. I, myself, cannot fathom anything that even
remotely comes close to justifying the 9\11 attack. But someone,
somewhere thinks that there is justification. If I was an American,
the first thing I would want to know is what the hell did we do to get
people this riled up that they are prepared to die to kill some of our
citizens.
But not good 'ol boy Bubba Bobby Curlette. He doesn't care. He just
falls right into line and says "Give 'em hell, Dubya". In fact, it
seems that virtually no-one in the US has bothered to ask the 62
thousand dollar question. Why did these people do this? What events
led to this? How did we [censored] them off so much? And the American media
has done nothing to help educate the masses, either. It just doesn't
appear to be at all important to them to understand their past and
present role in this fiasco. As far as Americans are concerned, they
did absolutely nothing to these people ever, and they were attacked
for no reason other than possibly something patently silly like envy
or jealousy. Come on, get real. The collective naivete of the American
nation is astounding. They are all prepared to accept, without
question, that they did absolutely no wrong, ever. It does not even
cross their minds that they may have done something to [censored] anyone off
to this extent.
Three years later and this guy, along with the other 300 million
americans, are as blind as bats when it comes to the actual cause of
the most important world historical-military event of the last 50
years, if not the millenium. He could not be bothered to educate
himself about it. And he comes into this newsgroup and tells us all
about how the international community feels about the US. Well Mr.
Curlette, you Georgia peach you, you are an ignorant little turd and I
would suggest that you do a bit more reading about international
affairs and the US's history in international affairs before you come
here and spout your ingnorant rants about other countries. Right now,
Americans need all the international friends they can find and your
anti-foreigner [censored] isn't doing anyone any good.
Your Bush-like American swagger may look cool but you may want to do
your best to not continue emulating Bush's complete stupidity and
ignorance in international affairs. It makes you look like the redneck
that you are. And that is what's gotten you people irretrievably mired
in Vietnam part 2 in Iraq.
