Someday they'll pass a law and these products will be more accurately
called REDUCED CARB. What is LC to one, is still way too many to another.

  4. Any time you use an adjective rather than numbers you are not going to have
accuracy. And you are going to have disagreements as to whether a
    particular adjective is appropriately applied.

  5. Are you referring to the Dannon Carb Control yogurt? If so, I've tried it
and I like it. It has 3 carbs per serving, and is just enough to tie me
over between the end of my workday at 2:30 and dinner at 5-5:30.

  7. Hi!
Havn't tried the Dannon LC yogourt as I too live in Canada, but I do have in
my fridge Yoplait Source. It is sweetened with Splenda and is also low
    calorie.
Still has 8 grams of Carbs (but it is very sweet. It is the Vanilla line so
i find it is sweeter than most other ones ). Better for me than some other
yogourts out there. Mabey your local Safeway will stock it.
    Good Luck!
    =^..^= Michelle

  8. i am a big fan of BLUE BUNNY products......................i use the
LITE 85 yogurt sweetened with SPLENDA, because the choice of flavors
    is wonderful!

I've tried their carb-control ones. They are okay.

I actually prefer real actual yogurt, the full fat plain
stuff that only comes in the big buckets. I add berries
or whatever or not. But I don't have it often enough.
I eat probably 3/4ths of the 4 cup bucket before it gets
old and doesn't smell fresh any more.

I wish full fat plain yogurt came in cups not just quarts.

  10. how many carbs per serving in the big buckets of plain yogurt

how many carbs per serving in the big buckets of plain yogurt

Sevenish per cup depending on the exact brand. Slightly more
than heavy cream, slightly less than regular milk. The plain
stuff also costs less than the fancy "fruit in the bottom"
    sugared stuff.

Almost all of the carbs in the popular "fruit in the bottom"
ones in stores is added sugar. Don't add sugar and the real
regular yogurt is low enough carb for almost all phases of
low carb programs after the Induction-like first two weeks.
f your low carb plan doesn't have an initial very low two
weeks (like CAD or Sugarbusters) regular plain full fat yogurt
might be okay starting day one.
