  1. Hi all,

I have been floating around here for quite some time. I am getting ready to
train for an Ironman or 1/2 Ironman, not sure yet and will see how it goes.
That said, I am not interested in LC anymore, or at least for the time
being. I will be eating carbs for fuel for my workouts. I have done a
bunch of events on LC before, but I have no interest in doing an Iron on LC.

I am about 187 right now and would imagine I will drop down to 170-175 by
next summer. No need for LC as I have been off LC for quite some time now
and have had no ill effects.

I suppose I could hang around, but I don't want to upset you fine folks,
being that I am going in a different direction.

I owe a lot to LC and the group. I found it very educational and I lost
about 25 pounds. Lost over 30 at my summer low, but feel a bit stronger
now. LC has been very good to me in so many ways.

Take care and I will be around now and again.
    Curt

  2. Goodluck Curt. Keep us updated on your progress.

  3. too bad you're leaving here, curt, because I'm very interested in hearing
about the training and the event itself.

as you know there are several posters here who DO NOT LC. The regulars here
have adjusted to them. if you don't come in trying to cut into people, I
don't think people will mind an occasional OT post. So I hope you
    reconsider.

  6. Yes, I have read your post about you LC marathon ideas and your experience.
You have done a very good job. I have experimented with LC and carb load
and so on and have decided that I do perform better eating carbs, but I
don't feel I need a carb load as they call it. Could I do an Ironman on LC?
Maybe I could, but I think it will be hard enough as it is for me. I am not

I will post now and again. I will miss many of the people here, but I don't

I think people would actually get a bit uneasy because your name will
be missing from their computer screen. Also I'm wondering, how un-LC
are you going to be?? I think this group's tolerance level is rather
high, no one would be screaming at you unless you start posting tens
of thousands of pasta bakes, risotto recipes.
