  1. Sorry if I spelled that wrong, which I'm sure I did🙁

OK, just a reminder, I started Atkins on March 1 of this year. Before I had
started I weighed in at 309, I was 31, 6'1". My level was in the 230s or
240's. Two weeks after I started Atkins, it dropped to 174 (which I thought
was quite amazing for only two weeks) and I just got it rechecked on Friday,
got the results today and it has gone down even more to 149! My doctor
couldn't be happier. Oh and I now weigh 180lbs! Also the other 'numbers'
when breaking down the cholesteral lab work are also excellent as well,
although I don't remember what the numbers are called, one of them was like
a 45 or 46. He was so thrilled with me he told me obvioulsy low carb works
wonders for you so if it ain't broke, don't fix it folks🙂

I can't believe that at the beginning of this year, I was a big blob of
disgusting fat and now I'm a tall, thin and very attractive guy! When I
show people pictures from now and then, they are just amazed that I'm even
the same person, I still have my 309lbs pic on my drivers permit and when
I'm carded for stuff, the cashiers honestly think I'm using someone elses
    ID, I love it!

Anyways good luck to everyone who is still working to their goals, you will
    get there!

  2. Post your pics for encouragement for other people! Way to go!

Try Webshots - www.webshots.com. Once you have the image files on your
hard disk, it's an easy matter to create an online album.

Congrats to a fellow Former Fat Guy! I got the most embarrassing
compliment from my sister-in-law the other day, she said, "A guy your age
has no business looking that good in jeans." Of course, I loved it ;-)

    Dan
    325/197/190
Atkins since 1/1/02 (yeah, it was a New Year's Resolution)
Besetting sins: good beer, German bread, and Krispy Kremes

  5. Both of you guys have done extremely well from the high weights you once
were. Congratulations, and keep up the good work.
