We just recently bought a digital camera. Although I reached my goal weight at the end of march, I wanted to tone up a little more and remain at the same weight. My next goal is to continue staying at 180lbs, but to reduce my bodyfat to around 8% so that my abs will show up better. My weight was quite stable in my 20's and 30's. At that time I could eat whatever I wanted because my activity level was higher, and I worked out with weights. When I hit 40, I got somewhat lazy and more sloppy with my eating habits. Several attempts were made at losing a few pounds, but it always came back, with a couple extra to boot. I did not fully believe that a lo-carb diet could work when I started this way of eating. Because of Atkins and this board, I am now motivated to get in even better condition. Hopefully my weight training, cardio workouts and continuing lo-carb will help me to achieve this goal. I haven't felt this strong in a long time. It's good to be at normal size again.

You're looking really good! Congratulations on meeting your weight goal and for continuing with your healthy way of life. After a few months of reading this newsgroup and seeing so many success stories, I've decided to seriously get into controlled carb eating. Successful people like you are really an inspiration. Thank you!
