    Mouthwash? ;-)

Some few people taste things in Splenda that most people don't. You're
one of the unlucky ones, I guess.

So sad to think of Splenda tablets going to waste. We can't get them or
the liquid here in the US due to some idiotic market machinations on the
    part of the manufacturer.

  3. How about a very limited amount of cane juice. It has some carbs, but walk
down the street once and you will burn it off. I don't know what the big
deal is about a tiny bit of real sugar in a cup of coffee? It is better
    than that other [censored].

  4. The imported Splenda tablets I have include other ingredients. It is
possible you dislike magnesium stearate, or something.

If you drink one cup a day, it might not be bad, but I drink 3-4 and the
calories would add up. Heck, I worry about the light cream I put in there.

I love the powder in almost everything.... I hate the pills. Don't know
    why?

Well, you may be right. 1 tsp of sugar has 15 cals and 4g carbs. If you
drink 4 cups of coffee with 1/2 tsp in each cup that does add up to 30 cals
and 8g of carbs. If you are on a real limited daily carb allotment, then
that is a problem. I am going to start a new thread regarding carbs per
    day.

I can't use any of the commercial mixes, they all spike my BG. I've been
trying stevia leaf and it seems to bring the BG down, if anything. I don't
notice any bad taste. I think it's only available in the US.

Actually, it's much more available elsewhere.

Are you sure? Not to attract the aspartame/stevia wars people, as I expect
    both products are okay....

At the local health food store (US) I can buy either the dried stevia leaf
or the processed powder. I think in US the powder is not approved as an
additive, dunno about the leaf, and neither is approved for import.

A correspondent in Australia can't get either form, and some people say one
or both forms of stevia are banned in at least some parts of Europe. Some
    use in Japan, istr.
