WHY am I so Constipated on this low carb diet?!!! And could someone
tell me why I feel dizzy and nauseous all the time?! I'm trying to
drink more water and have started to take a multi vitamin. Will this
help? Could someone tell me what I can to to relieve these problems
because I love this diet but I feel like it is beginning to be bad for
my health.

Eat 3-4 almonds with every meal. They make me [censored] like a horse on ex-lax.

How long have you been on low carb? If you are just starting out,
constipation is expected as a side effect. Try taking some psyllium each
night. I used to use just plain o' psyllium husks, but I think you can find
sugar-free Metamucil. That might taste better. When I first started (Atkins Induction), I felt dizzy and otherwise
out-of-sorts until all of the glucose flushed out of my system. It takes
about 3-5 days. But afterward, I felt wonderful; had overflowing energy and
my mood improved greatly. What diet are you doing? Or are you doing it on your own?
If you don't start to feel better (dizziness, nausea) in a few days, you may
want to see your doctor. It could be something else, or low carb may not be
for you. I know of at least one colleague of mine who tried low carb (by
the book) and she actually got worse from it (she also had underlying,
undiagnosed heart problems.)--

If you've just started - nausea is common the first several days but
generally disappears all by itself.
Taking a multi-vitamin is important.--
