  1. Yes, I have them from time to time. ;-P

Since the "Fat Acceptance" people are so gracious to share their posts with
this newsgroup, why shouldn't we return the favor by sharing our low carb
news with them on their newsgroup? Or maybe someone has already thought of
    this?

I know, cross-posting is a no-no, and it was probably a mean thought.

On this topic, however, is there anyway in Outlook Express to block
    cross-postings, like blocking senders?

The crossposted fat acceptance stuff is promulgated by FA trolls.
Although we have individuals who also think they are sophisticated
enough to decide that we want or need to see their crossposted [censored]
(insert Iggy here) Don't blame the FAs for their residnet trolls
behavior. They would like to be left alone as much as we would.

If I had my druthers, crossposters would be skinned and salted. But
in a nice friendly way of course. Later.

It depends on what baste or rub you use. Brown sugar? Not low carb.

  5. I find the best way to get rid of these annoying people is to just ignore
them. Don't give them any ammo and don't stoop to their level. Just my own
    personal opinion.

It can be done in a round about way, but it's a complicated setup and a
pain. It's much easier to use a third party proggie running along side OE.

www.geocities.com/tanirevek/uselfulfiles.html, where you'll find the proggie
newsproxy, and the link for the faq, and a sample filter for crossposts.

  8. Thanks, revek! Like I said, I wouldn't intentionally cross-post something
inflammatory, although I do get sick of reading the 'fat acceptance' bs.
But I'll check out the info for the filter.
