Is there anywhere people are sharing FitDay files to compare what they are
eating and how their weight loss is going? Seems that would be fun and
interesting.

How would you do that?
I have sometimes used screen captures to share images from FitDay.

I found it to be a huge issue and went back to private fitday.
TEHO i guess.

FitDay produces and account file with the extension .fdy. I don't see why
you couldn't just email that to someone. Then the receiver would just open
it as a second account.
I haven't tried it but it should be no problem. I transferred my .fdy file
to my other computer OK.

No need to do all that! There is an option on your Fitday account page to
make your Fitday public or private; it defaults to privat. If you make it
public and post your Fitday URL, anyone can look at your charts and stats
without being able to make changes.
