(Lee) said:Huh? She actually knows a lot. I don't understand your comment.
What she knows (as in "a lot"😉 is relative to what you know.

your body to accept 3x weekly on all body parts is not at all
difficult to accomplish.(Lee) said:Okay...you didn't understand what I wrote. I work each muscle group
once a week. I'm in the weight room 3x/week. One day is chest and
triceps (and usually shoulders & calves as well), one day is back &
bicep, one day is quads/hams. It's not 3x weekly on all body parts.I understood what you said.
Quoted message said:What does "Conditioning your body to accept 3x weekly on all body
parts is not at all difficult to accomplish." mean?It means why do you only work two body parts each time in the gym?
Quoted message said:I just don't get
what you're trying to say, and it isn't particularly constructive. Can
you be a little more clear?Certainly; bodybuilders typically approach weight training with a
"body part" mentality. Fine...if all you want is big body parts.Strength training involves gaining strength irrespective of body part
size; IOW, gaining the ability to create and generate force all lots
of typical body movements; note the word "movements" as in functional
things you can take from the gym to the real world.
How do you think bodybuilders get big? Also, what good is a bench press
to real world activities? Personally, I never do anything remotely
resembling a bench press. And what about squats? Overhead standing
french presses?
