  1. For those of you who are still awake, although most of Europe is clouded
    over, live pics of the eclipse are coming through from Norway. Go to
    this site;
    http://webcast1.uio.no/english.html

    Currently the Oslo camera is giving the best pics.

  2. To my surprise, there was a break in the clouds for a few minutes,
    around half past three, just after the total eclipse had started. Bit
    of a panic with exposures and auto-focusing, but I managed to grab a few
    shots. Nothing really sharp but this is probably the best;

    Canon 300D, Sigma 400mm, 1 sec at f5.6, ISO 800.

  3. My best three shots from this morning;

    Eclipse start. Really [censored], 1/1000 at f5.6, ISO 3200, way too grainy.
    Shot through a momentary thinner layer in the clouds.

    Totality. 1 sec at f5.6, ISO 800. Taken in a panic during a very short
    clear spell. Not all that sharp.

    Eclipse end. A better quality one to end on, a full size crop this
    time. 1/1000 at f5.6, ISO 400.
    http://www.wildwales.fsnet.co.uk/misc/eclipse3.jpg

    All taken with a Sigma 400mm lens.
