If you're approaching from the North I expect the West Monar estate will
thank you for sending the deer over their way. Or slightly more seriously
but not much more use to you, when I downloaded a load of stalking info from
the Walking Wild website back in August it said "awaiting information" about
the hills in question. Useful site for a lot of hills though with contact
numbers, dates and a general idea of estates varying attitudes. The south
side from Loch Monar and Glen Strathfarrar is on the hillphones website. .

It being a well recognised hill walking area (with good car park at
Achnashellach), I imagine it will be ok or if not there will be a notice
by the railway crossing gates advising alternative route.

If time permits continue over Maoile Lunndaidh to avoid a second long
walk in. Good track back from base of M.L. to Achnasellach, but river
will need wading at this time of year :-)

How did it go Len? Thought of you as we passed the rail crossing in
Achnashellach en route to Beinn Bhan on Saturday.
