Anyone got any views on which is better (features, ease of use) for trail walking - Garmin Vista, Magellan Meridian Colour, or the forthcoming Magellan eXplorist series?
These are all rather different units - it's hard to directly compare them. One isn't really available (and is an entry-level unit), another is at the other end of the scale with colour, expandable memory etc.
The eXplorist series appears to have no PC interface, making it similar to the geko 101. If true, this is a major disadvantage for most uses.
