    Hi All,

    I've been organising my OS Explorer Map collection which is expanding
    nicely. Is anyone aware of an online Explorer Map summary sheet that
    is better than this one on the OS web site?

    I could do with a better Explorer Summary as a background in Visio to
    help me decide what other maps to buy. I was thinking of adding shaded
    Visio blocks on top of the summary map to show those I've already got.

    It might even be nice to write a program with a list of available maps
    with tick boxes which automatically adds a shaded block to the
    relevant area on a summary sheet to give a graphical representation of
    my current coverage.

    I have given up buying them, until they are reissued with Right to Roam on
    them. Then I will have to decide whether to buy new ones or mark the old
    ones from the web if that proves possible.

    print your own (having bought the data) - much cheaper.

    Actually the tracklogs site may have an explorer summary map you can
    'borrow', since they will, if you insist, sell you map data by 'explorer
    sheet' I believe - although it's cheaper and more convenient to buy a
    40k square chunk centred on what you really wanted.

    p.s.. their application does a good job of keeping track (on a PC) of
    what digital data you own, both 1:25k Explorer and 1:50k Landranger.

    Great if you know exactly where you are going.
    I go where the spirit/weather/time takes me.
    I spend too much time cursing myself for not having brought ???? sheet.

    I prefer clearer maps without the [censored] over the landscape and without
    showing where I "cannot" go. Getthem now while still legible.
